angloplats and african rainbow minerals

Hi everyone,

Been trying to call Peter Landau with no success (seems that Pete only wants to communicate with those who will not question his words) so I thought that I would give Angloplats and African Rainbow Minerals a call. Managed to get a relations person to talk to me ... after like 25minutes of being forwarded around.

Here is the summary or what was told to me.

Both confirmed that they indeed have been working with Genorah/NKP on the possible developments of the farms.

Angloplats have confirmed that talks started back in April on possible mining plans. They looked at issues such as geology, water, power, worker training etc. Angloplats obviously would not comment on the specifics on the JV as expected however what was told to me is that developments are still being mediated and there is no final timeframe for a conclusion. There are still MANY issues to be resolved.

African Rainbow Minerals acknowledged that there are discussions in relations to NKP/Genorah controlled farms but indicated that its still relatively early stages and that there would be many more meetings before any decisive outcome can be obtained. Once again I am not told of the specific points of discussion due to confidentiality which is understandable.

I suggest all shareholders call up Angloplats, African Rainbow Minerals and talk to a representative them-self. Just from what I got the chance of getting a Joint Venture completed this year is almost zero...which does not bode well for the share price in the short term I guess.
