I just lodged my vote - "Against" on both items.

I would be shocked if a superior offer came along right now, all we can hope for is an overwhelming NO vote but knowing human nature. Most of the voting forms will be tossed in the rubbish bin and the board will get their way.

At least I am on public record registering my complete disgust for this deal and I can disclose not to have sold a single ESG share since the takeover was announced!

Bring on the NO vote! Bring on SANTOS being forced into drawing up a new deal, taking into account Tintsfield potential.

Then I woke up and realised I was forced into SANTOS shares.

Sadly, I can not attend the meeting in person. I have family here from N.Z staying with me for 1 week. I guess I could shout them all a trip to Sydney but this Scheme of Arrangement has left me short changed!
