    not 100% sure what you are getting at to be quite honest

    if you look at the article it says

    "Technically, you don't have to sell your house, but practically you do, otherwise you won't get aged care."

    i dont quite follow the article or either what you are saying

    but it looks to me that what is going on is the family home will be subjected to an assets test when someone needs old age care? is that correct?

    which i consider fair, why should taxpayers pay for aged care for people who are asset rich and cash poor?
