Back in 2004, 60 members of my yahoo group, The Elephant Fields, formed a special group to pick the most promising, leveraged, and the best assets and undervalued oil junior. This new group, the Elephant Hunters, put collectively several hundred hours performing serious due diligence on over 50 canadates, including Hardman, Woodside, Petroleum-Geo-Services, Dana, Carvarvon, Bounty Oil and others.
The final three on our short list included Sun Resources, Pancontinental Oil & Gas and Global Petroleum. Pancon made it into the Winner's Circle.
So, I too, am rooting for SUR, although I have no position in it now. Here's SUR's latest presentation ( October 2011 ), as it relates to the Malta/Tunesia/Libya conumdrum. Go to page 14 when you bring up the following link. I'll let you know when the situation is resolved.
