    Morning All, cheers HLL.

I think you missed the most important factor HLL. Last night at Cambelltown RSL, the sad old queen that really runs Australia, shock jock Alan Jones, said that the "fabric of Australian society will be ripped apart if anything is done to restrict poker machine revenues." Tony Abbot was there to agree with him, so I guess Wall St sat up and took notice.

The Europeans have been given fair warning that Julia will be over there to give them a piece of her mind if they don't solve their debt problems. So that's one issue we don't have to worry about any more.

I reckon if they tell the "boat people" that limits will be put on poker machine losses, they will not want to come here. Problem solved.

Meanwhile, another good night on Wall St is followed by a bad night. I'm getting a bit sick of panic selling my portfolio at huge losses every second day.

On top of all this, the gold price which was obviously going back down to US$250 because of some really good, unknown reason, has suddenly gone up over US$1700? Now we will have to buy our gold stocks back at higher prices.

I blame daytraders for all this.
