I'm no purist but the French were robbed of this World Cup.

It was a home town award.

The French were very generous to allow the AB's to wear their traditional stripes even though the French won the toss and could have worn blue meaning the AB's would have had to wear grey or another neutral colour.

The French were being respectful to the home team to allow them their traditional strip. Seems like no one gave the French much consideration.
