Strange you would have to go overseas when we have diamond mines here eg. Argyle in WA which has pink diamonds. I would imagine pink diamonds would be popular.
I would probably buy a dud as I don't know anything about diamonds and how to rate them.
It seems to be a way to diversify your assets. You do hear about Indians investing in PMs and Diamonds.
