Yes, cletus. I think a resources tax just moves wealth from our resources back into the public purse. These companies are being compensated anyway. Some companies are probably blaming the tax for a low share price. Overseas companies might be saying our resources tax is an investment risk, whilst their agenda might be a cheap takeover.
Investing in any shares, means we'd know that countries- including our own- will have different governments, from communists to outright capitalists, and those will change with time. All shares have risk.
