As previously posted I'm not keen on such a huge consolidation, but ultimately it's an ASX requirement so there is nothing we can do about it.

I will admit to being disappointed with the trading on Friday, and the lack of buy depth is still surprising/ disappointing.

Slogger, you posted: "IMO the market is rating the stock based on the stock value after consolidation (and IMO so it should!"

This doesn't make sense to me. I don't see how the value after consolidation would be any different to before consolidation. If the shares are 7 cents now, they should be $1.40 post consolidation. The market cap. should still be the same.

The biggest difference will be that the liquidity will be removed and short term traders will not even look at it. Some may see this as a good thing, but when Earley took over I was hoping with news that short term traders would eventually get a hold of the story, and that they certainly did.

I am an investor, not a trader, but short term traders certainly have a part to play in stories like this (IMO of course)
