    We do agree often it seems, and yours is a good take on the situation imo.

    So, to achieve it are you advocating:

    1. the govt subsidises Qantas for the productivity gains it so desperately need to continue to compete on the global stage whilst carrying the "brand" that Australians cherrish?

    2. or that the unions and staff alone have to work with Qantas for the productivity gains it so desperately needs to continue to compete on the global stage whilst carrying the "brand" that Australians cherrish?

    3. that Qantas alone (without union, staff and govt support) has to magically create the productivity gains it so desperately needs to continue to compete on the global stage whilst carrying the "brand" that Australians cherrish?
