If you think Joyce grounded the planes in a hissy fit, I think you are wrong. IMO this has been planned for a while, and would have had the backing of the whole of the board. There is another agenda here, and it is to do with the way Qantas was set up when first listed. Think about Telstra/Trujillo for a moment, and then consider why they brought in a foreigner to run an Australian airline.
