Once again we see a CEO with a 5 million dollar pay packet act as if he owned the company. The arrogance of these millionaire men that sit in a room doing the group think and then boom - shut it down.

What a total embarrassment to the Australian people, the dignitaries that were visiting, the 10's of thousands of passengers stranded worldwide etc.

This haggis is on 5 mill a year and pulls a stunt like this.

The question of the price of cheaper asian airfares - well this is best answered by safety. Something Q has worked hard to be number one in the World and now some bean counters come in and say if we use low paid low skilled workers from some backwater in Asia we can save the company X and you can then justify your massive pay increases.

If you had to put a value on life - go with the Q the same as the difference between safety with a Ford or a Mercedes
