I believe the cash is there to keep it going.
It is more a matter of software writing I think.
Fixed contributions have been mentioned from time to time but nothing happened. so I don't expect much in this regard.
And as RobAde says SS is free.
I do think that should any of these 2 fail, then the other will raise subscriptions.
Anyway, it is over to the software writers (Programmers), I think.
