I don't know if they will actually test the well if successful, that is not usual for an exploration well. However as they have the kit on the Defender well site, maybe they will. To do a selective test usually you start from the bottom, flow that, plug it then flow the upper zone.
If pressures allow they may go for a co-mingled test and flow both zones.
An alternative that they may go for is a wireline logging run to recover samples of oil from various depths, this is quite a bit cheaper.
