You need to read the announcements....and be careful who you listen to.
Ex-div 7 Nov 2011.
If you sell the stock on the 7th you will still get the dividend. (franking credits subject to 45 day rule)
The 11th is the record date and you need to work back from there to calculate the ex-div date. The company has already done this for you in their release.
