The perverse thing about today's market is how easy it is to influence a wide audience, instantaneously, with a simple stroke of a keyboard button. The more bears we have peddling "end of days" stuff, the more de-sensitive the market becomes.
Think about it, 5 weeks ago, had the greeks pulled this stunt, we would be somewhere south of 3600. As it is, we've all got used to this nonsense from the Euro, everyone has priced in the worst and we are trading at 4160 :)
The market is working it out, and Martis' comments just serve to shake out a few more sheep
