Lots of peops have mentioned similarity between DOW during GFC and now. I first heard some rumblings & charted this back at end Aug 2011 and did the following screen shots showing "spooky" similarity in price and some time correlations. Been traveling in States since & have not paid it that much attention:

So here are the %age moves now and then using the measuring tool: I have marked similr pivots a - b and 1-7.


& projections if we get similar moves:

So IMO market shenanigans are far from over. he finance industry continues to paper over over the cracks but they are appearing at ever increasing rates.

PS My USA sojourn has been a revelation for me into how this strange country works; & what does work (some stuff) & what doesn't (most of it IMO. That is for another day but as a starter I will say that of all the Republicans I have heard talk George W makes about the most sense; sscary hey! ... they are total nutters IMO. They make Oz Liberals look, well "liberal" (pun intended). LOL
