Reiner001, the RMS sp was 45-50c at the time. To get to the actual truth, one can assume RMS short sold its own shares at 60c, the price dropped to 45c, RMS didn't cover the short and hence didn't realise a profit from the flutter, RMS has since risen to $1.50... ie. RMS is now sitting on big unrealised loss. If RMS now wanted to buy back the shares it sold for 60c, it'd require 2.5x the amount of capital needed. Sure at the time they "COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE" bought back the shares with 0.8x the amount of capital... they elected not to.
