re your topic of German Unemployment, I thought I would look up Spain, since there has been alot of talk about Spain's 21% unemployment rate being the kiss of death for Spain.
Anyway, I seem to remember that Spain has always had a problem with jobs, and sure enough, if you go back to 1995, their unemployment rate then was 25% and they were going through a boom!!
I can't help thinking, like you, possibly, that the hysterical nature of the sensationalist and usually bearish commentators (present company excepted!) is feeding a frenzy of negativity.
