If you have no control over your currency, you have little control of your economy. I think they will go back to the Drachma and then take some real paid (like Argentina) for a couple of years and then come back refreshed.
Notice England kept the Pound and let all the other idiots go with the Euro? That way they have at least some control
of their economy.

The United States of Europe was never going to work because Germans and Greeks etc are too different, not like Virginia and California in the US, the European countries are much too different.

On another subject, I do get a bit of solace knowing that all the management of FML are in Germany trying to convince "high worth investors" that FML is a good place to invest their money. I can just see it now ....

Mr Munich "but Mr Baird, zee share price has dropped almost every day from since you buy CRE, zee latest quarter numbers show not good profit and you have so many BILLION shares in zee market, today SP eees a low 5.8c, why is eet good to buy your company??"

Mr Baird "er um, we got CRE for a bargain, ahh results are very good at TI but I can't show you, er watch this space bye bye...."
