Miles, you might think it high moral garbage, that is your prerogative. But some people think that when an abortion is performed a human is killed and they hold all human life dear and sacrosanct. They feel very strongly about the wanton taking of life. I would have thought that the charge that a human is being killed was worthy of consideration by the wider community. It is like standing back and watching the slaughter of humans in the conflicts around the world and not caring a fig about them. We could not stand it on our doorstep and did something about it in Timor. Whether or not a human is killed is not a religious question, it is a question for the whole community but in Aus that question is never debated.
