Regarding Ambrose Evans-Pritchard...
I once saw a very interesting interview by a guy who works for Lyndon LaRouche. The interview was analysing the repeal of Glass-Steagall which was signed into law by Bill Clinton. Previously though Clinton had given a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations in which he stated that he saw Glass-Steagall being retained and even expanded. Funnily enough the bankers didn't like that idea.
Enter A E-P... brought in to lead the Monica-Lewinsky propaganda campaign and make sure that the issue would not go away... The pressure of the Lewinsky/Impeachment problem was took enough of Clinton's headspace that he either willingly or unwittingly signed the repeal.
The interview stated for the purposes of background information that A E-P was basically working for the British Secret Service and comes from a family of spies.
He is undoubtedly very good at what he does. I checked his bio on the internet and sure enough there is a brief two year spell spent working in Washington that directly coincides with the period of Clinton's Lewinsky problems.
Of course Lewinsky wasn't Clinton's only affair... Long before being elected president he had a reputation as being a "hard dog to keep on the porch".... so if someone or a group of people with deep enough pockets and the right connections wanted to bring him down it was a pretty obvious strategy.
