smsf off market transfer question

okay I have set up a SMSF, I want to do a couple of off market transfers into it (at arm's length) but how far back can I go to determine a date for the market price e.g. can I transfer some ANZ into it as at 30 June at the price on that date? this is a question for my accountant but he's on leave, maybe someone here knows?? the SMSF was created some time back
