re: rsg - what gives?? my take There is nothing wrong with RSG, patience is needed here.
I see that an institutional fund manager has been getting out of RSG and transferring funds simultaneously into LSG. I would only assume that this has something to do with the upcoming rationalisation in Africa (which should include SPX,GGN,RBK & RSG) and that these guys (Paradice Cooper Investors) see that their strategic stake should lie in LSG (rather than RSG) since LSG owns a stake in RSG anyway...
So its possible that there was a bit of a stock overhang on RSG, holding the share price back as Paradice Cooper Investors were getting out - this is now over.
RSG is definitively not a dog and patience is needed here IMO until the plans that have been put in place begin to crystallize.
Incidentally, here is a link on Paradice Cooper Investors. They are quite a successful specialist small caps manager, returning 90% since its launch 2.5 years ago. Not bad!!
