Citi 09/11/2011 1 Buy $30.65 33.5%
By rating and $30.65 price target maintained. Citi analysts observe the level of corporate deals the world around remains well below levels seen in past years. But it would appear Macquarie is punching above its weight, at least if the latest data provided by Thomson Reuters can be relied upon.
Citi places the focus back on intrinsic valuation, suggesting the shares remain undervalued. On Citi's calculations, the shares are worth more than $30 a piece, which probably explains the positive rating. No changes made to forecasts.
Target price is $30.65 Current Price is $23.20 Difference: $7.45
If MQG meets the Citi target it will return approximately 32% (excluding dividends, fees and charges).
