If they hit the 'motherlode' at Butcher Bird (copper) then the S/P will surely get a massive rise, so they may consider, why sell the Gold prospects, when with a decent capital raising (owing to the new high share-price)will give MZM a bundle of cash to do all the projects, without being worried about having enough capital.
From what I can gather talking to JB, he still likes the gold prospects and thinks there's still good potential there.
It was more to do about having enough cash to do the the manganese and copper,if they found it properly.
He always likes to know he has enough cash to drill with, without diluting the shares on issue.
This is something he's been pretty good at.

With gold still expected to play a big part in the financial markets in the next year or so and quite a few people still predicting higher prices, it could well be worth some serious drilling.

If the S/P was to go to several $$'s, dilution of the shares on issue would be very minimal, with possible decent reward.

Why have a couple good prospects, when three would even be better.

The trouble in the past is that the company has had limited capital to spend (which they did very well)but they may have the opportunity to change that.

I keep my fingers crossed for great things to happen.

    Regards
    Dabru
