andrew, with due respect, there was nothing "supernatural" about it....they just got in first and hit hard...and had the best US weapons. I dont think a God had anything to do with that. If indeed they were protected and guided by a deity, dont you think they would have finished up settling in the north of WA as offered, with its enormous wealth? Instead of in the only spot in the ME that has no oil? No, I'd dismiss any thoughts of divine intervention.
