looks like we are going to see global markets continue the healing process early this week, for the last 2 weeks I have been of the view that sentiment was changing and all we needed was 5 minutes of peace out of Europe and we might see further gains in global equity markets.

what we have seen recently is a growing ability for markets to shrug off negative European news in quick time(obviously there has been quick overeactions recently but the trend has been to buy the dips)

tonight is key if we are going to see this recovery in sentiment continue, there is a 5yr Italian Bond Auction, if the yields can be continued to the low 6% level, we might have a few days peace on the Italian front.

on a frustrating note the global media certainly doesn't help improve sentiment any, not 5 minutes after reading articles about how Italians/Global Investors were celebrating new Greek/Italian leaders, media outlets were already running stories about how France could be the next target due to their increasing bond yields and large debt of 1.7 trillion euro's.

in terms our market today, i'm hoping we can continue to see increasing volume in the spec sector(it hasn't been huge but an improvement), also it has been great to see some intra-day volatility returning to a few names in the spec sector, the last couple of days of last week were the best days for intra-day trading for quite a while.

there has been early signs of positive exploration results being rewarded by the market once again(certainly not like the boom times, but better than recently).

keep an eye on those MZM results due out they could also give HOR a kick along given nearology.

also looks like a same intra-sector trend in the small bio's developing with some volatility/volume coming into the likes of ANP/NEU/OBJ recently.

hope everyone has a great day, everything going well tonight, could be the start of short term positive trend.
