Just for a bit more optimism on a Monday, Have a look at the price history of STB. Whilst this one is a Phospate prospect compared to coal, atleast with positive drill results in the near future you can see that this skyrocketted to $6 a share in no time. The issues with this stock is its location in the Cape of Africa and the concerns with violance and instability, Take these out of the equation (Mongolia is a lot more stable) and you will see that the sky is the limit in 2012.

Whilst no-one is extremely happy with where we sit today, 2012 is a new chapter and we basically will have a new start.

Also keep in mind that whilst Australian Coal projects may be an endangered species in 2012 given Mongolia growth for China companies that are Aussie based coal will need to diversify to survive and we should see a larger boom in demand for Mongolia Assets in 2012. We could well see AKM gone in 2012 like HUN which will only boost demand for remaining ASX listed Mongolia coal Assets, especially proven ones...
