My guess is they are running scared. They see the potential of costs blowout and raise capital to protect the company.

Why did they board originally make out they were cashed up and don't need to raise capital for Mt Magnet?

I think most of you are upset because you had a false sense of security. Noone likes suprises.

I can say it has been discussed from the very beginning by investors that RMS would probably need to raise capital for this project.

At the last AGM when the board was asked if they intended to raise capital they responded with a vague no. Saying we don't see the need to raise capital. When that question was asked the chairman bowed his head and appeard to be in shame. I took that as a signal that something is not right.

Boards in general only tell you what they want you to know, when they want you to know. They dont really respect shareholders at all but see us as a cash cows.
