Coolstocks, its an unfair question you asked ximing. If he knows of an unanounced take over its illegal for him to tell you. Nothing in his post suggests a take over other is immenent than he was told a view that someone is allegedly depressing the share price.

Frankly I don't beleive this. BLT is unusual in that the top 20 shareholdings range from 0.6% of the company upwards with only three shareholders exceeding 5%. The average shareholding, outside the top 20, is around 500,000 shares. What happend today is that one of the top 15 shareholders took out the buyers at 0.16 and 0.15 cents. If it was one of the top 3 that will be declared soon, if not it will not be declared. Either way the number of shares is not material and in my view is not directed at supressing the price. Only one of the top 3 sharehodlers has the capcity to do that, other shareholders do not have sufficient shares except by collusion or loaning shares for short selling.

There are many reasons for selling shares, the main one just now is that we are in a bear market and many advisors recommendations are to sell stocks on any rally. In the bigger picture we are on the down leg of a Kondratiev cycle and the safe things are gold an cash. So I take todays trades in this perspective. Nothing more.

If I were to want to take over BLT, and I don't, I don't have the funds, the expertise, or the interest, but I would mount a bid under 4 cents so as avoid having to buy the a huge amount of new shares from excerise of the options. It would be a qualified bid such that need not take over the whole company if I did not get a designated percentage of the shares. Nor would I need to, 50.01% is control. With control I can do what I want provided it does not disadvantage the minority shareholders.

I have no idea if a bid is coming but I agree with the theme of most posts and that is BLT is a super buy because of its patents covering exceptional technology that has both huge commercial and humanitarion potential. Maxineamillions superb post on potential conflicts between self interest and moral standards is admirably noted and I wish many company directors had maxinamillions high moral standards.

I topped up today at 0.015 and if the shares fall much further I will sell more of my blue chips and increase my holding in BLT.

None of this is investment advice. I get it wrong more times than I get it right.
