The drilling costs is currently being subsidised by the shareholder for the long term benefit of Hanlong.

Let us not blame Hanlong, it is not their fault for being smart. If one person is dumb, the other one automatically becomes a smarty pants.

I wonder if there is an issue of using shareholder funds for drilling when there is an agreement to purchase and thus excluding other competitors from the bid.

It is like promising to buy a property while at the same time, you can go to that place, take shower and cook, while waiting until the renovation in the garden is finish. so silly indeed!
