Volume plays a part. But you miss alot of opportunities if you only rely upon one signal or indicator. And volume can turn on a dime when it comes to pennies. In a bear market I believe long term buy and hold is useless. You have to trade to survive. Your right in having multiple indicators, just learn to read them to where they are making you profit.
