See thats the thing xindongxcvlkxcjhua, "get over it" is what we are all told to do constantly and to be honest thats what I / we all have been doing for years, just putting up with it. Its easier to just accept it, put it into the "too hard basket", be compliant, don't complain, blah blah blah.

But now I'm starting to question, is it the case that so many of us have elected not to make a fuss which has made it possible for these practices to creep in and become "the norm" ? Are we actually at fault because our inactions have allowed them to change the market beneath our feet ?

If we don't question it, mind our own business and continue doing what we are doing where will we end up ? Do we wait until retail investors can no longer directly participate in the market before we protest at what appears to be two sets of rules for two different groups of market participants ?

"we are all good, aren't we?" you ask. Well I guess so, as long as we keep our eyes shut and don't care too much for the future, or our fellow investors. So long as we don't think that we have been directly affected by it yet then sure, its all good !

Yep, I'm excited by SSNs future just like you. I have made loads of money on SSN so far and fully expect to make loads more in the future. Not the issue. While I'm happy with my investment in SSN I'm trying not to be so single minded as to not take notice of what is going on around me while I'm waiting. I know that we are all focused on the bigger picture, making money to secure a financial future for our families, we can't do so indefinately without taking care of the little things. The old saying "Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves" is just as appropriate when considering what exactly is it that allows us to make money in the markets ?

On hundreds of occassions posters here have seen fit to point out and complain about these apparent practices. Multiply this by more stocks than I care to mention and there really does appear to be a significant level of concern. Is it just me that thinks enough is enough ? It might just be time to make a point ? Can we do something about it, sure we can.
