Hi BlueTurtle..
The grades for the area are what you would expect.
Other big deposits in the region include
Salobo - 800 Mt at 0.96% Cu, 0.5 g/t AU
Igarape Bahia - 219 Mt at 1.4% Cu, 0.86 g/t Au
Sosessego - 355 Mt at 1.30% Cu, 0.3 g/t AU
Christalino - 500 Mt at 1,.32% Cu, 0.3 g/t AU
So the results are promising. They are close to surface and confirm continuity towards the western edge of Antas South. Management are also expecting some further big grades..
"Based on the visual presence of massive sulphides and high concentrations of chalcopyrite in holes AAND-36 and AAND-37 the pending results for these holes are expected to show a continuation of the tenor of grades reported previously1 in AAND-14 and AAND-15."
We all know the grades that AAND-14 and AAND-15 reported. For those of you who dont remember.
23.50m at 1.55% Copper, 0.45g/t Gold from 58.00m AAND-14
35.60m at 3.67% Copper, 0.22g/t Gold from 153.00m AAND-14
Incl. 2.60m at 19.75% Copper, 0.69g/t Gold, from 155.80m
Incl. 4.85m at 8.43% Copper, 0.56g/t Gold from 182.85m
27.70m at 5.96% Copper, 2.80g/t Gold from 53.15m AAND-15
Incl. 4.57m at 21.90% Copper, 3.72g/t Gold, from 53.15m
I also like the fact that management have concluded the announcement with info that they are still pursuing the trial mining license. Good to hear.
