Unfortunately, as stated many times before, the markets are manipulated. The earlier you come to grips and understand this, the faster you can guard your "hard earned" from being fleeced from you.

These days the markets are a playground for predators, the composite trader as Funky puts it, to come in and just strip you of your money. And don't think it's all banks, hedge funds and insto's that are doing the manipulating, some of these guys get fleeced too!

IMO, the "buy 'n hold" mentality is over.
