An answer to your conjecture on the indupitable fact that an entity is accumulating.
I have it from a horse's mouth it is not LNG and it is not ERM either.
The horse's mouth was extremely agitated/excited and reckoned on "fireworks" by the end of 1Q 2012 - the horse emphasised that this is after the Chinese New Year.
It was made clear to me that there are several parties determined that MEL is NOT going to be taken out.
The horse neighed that HQ would provide the steel pipes for LWPL.
The horse whinnied happily that gas swaps would be used - in relation to FL - and an initial 600PJ of gas would come from Qld and be replaced by MEL when they were in production and the PL completed.
Another horse gave a figure of 1000 as the number of wells needed to produce 250PJ of gas.
And if you listen to PH's address you will hear that he says "Rosella" would be a company maker on its own if the GMB fullfills its promise.
So you can see you get to discuss all sorts of interesting and pertinant matters if you attend the MEL AGM.
Incidentally, the following day, I had a most invaluable & enlightening conversation with the very pleasant CEO of AGL.
All in all, the information made me confident enough to take myself to a prestige car yard on my way to the airport.
