Okay now I feel a little bit (just a little bit) embarrassed, reason being no sooner I sent that last post I recieved an email from the DERM. I attempted to make a few enquiries the other day but was told someone would have to get back to me, now I've heard that line before but it appears on this occassion they came good on their word.

Kevin, the Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) is currently assessing Carbon Energy's applications to amend its Environmental Authorities (EAs) for MDL374 (mining activities) and PFL6 (petroleum activities).

The public notification period for PFL6 closed on 15 November 2011. The current decision date for the both EAs is 25 November 2011, pending any extension of this date for the provision of additional information to DERM.
