I don't think it was management.
Ghana has stated it will raise corporate tax rate on miners to 35% from 25% and introduce a 10% windfall profit tax.
This would certainly hurt PRU.
Governments are stepping up their wealth destroying activity all over the world.
Sadly sovereign risk was always going to be an issue as the gold price moved up.
