This trading halt is very unusual in my view. This well I thought was targeting shale oil and as such is a fracced horizontal well. By all means announce the duster after the lateral is drilled with no hydrocarbon shows or poor resistivity or no commercial flows after fraccing. Why announce bad news along the way. I'm hoping they have found something unexpected.....it may not be fantastic ( 1.3c sp tells me that), hopefully it's positive though.
