I must admit I am not fully on top of the tax thing. I figured aside from that I was happy to buy anyway purely on the fact that I rate Geoff Wilson and Ron Brierley and just assuming they didn't buy to passively watch it delist and wait a couple of years for cheques in the mail, if they liked getting 10% @ 3.5 cents it was good enough for me. Wasn't sure how long I would get to research it whilst there was volume there so just bought.
If it turns sour still ahead on INE, RHG, and SGI looks to be a juicy buyback also so no drama. Pays to watch when Wilson is on the substantial shareholder notices!
Only thought of the tax loss angle reading AYT company presentation on Nov 11, section 3 MIS update. INE certainly has the cash to takeover AYT. It also says AYT will delist and hold to maturity "subject to no superior proposals". Watch this space.
