Acecant,
thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have jumped exceptionally in my estimation and esteem.
I have perhaps been a little belligerant in some of my posts after the AGM however I heard very disquieting feedback at the AGM where I was told privately that there had been disturbing and vile backwash recieved over the ESPP in the leadup to the meeting. Vile and disturbing are dangerous words when you think what had to have been said and it is obvious what prompted it was the discussions on this site.
I believe the discussion was mainly healthy at first and well positioned, but when it degenerated into what I thought were sladerous opinions about the ethics of the management, who most shareholders have never met, it obviously set off some sociopathic tendancies in some of the readers.
Mangement does need to be kept aware of shareholders thoughts and they need feedback to keep them focussed on the fact they look after many small shareholders interests. This site I think has done that well. However I think we have an ethical responsibility to make sure our own discussions remembers there are real people being spoken about and this is a very public forum, hatred can be incited amongst some who obvioulsy don't have capacity to control their emotions fully.
Vile and disturbing backwash being directed at real people because of what is said on this site must make everyone pause and think.
Thank you again
Seik
