You would think the fact that your partner has called a TH itself an issue and grounds for calling your own TH in Canada? Given that pfc is pretty much all about Georgina Basin operations. PFC should have at least reported the news, since your partner calling a TH is material. They are required I believe to at least keep the market informed, no?

Given that they both are in possession of exactly the same knowledge it tells me that whatever the news to come it is 'at present' not unequivocal enough to be that major by Canadian standards.

PFC went up 1c and I don't even see the BKP TH as a news item on PFC website. It is sort of like...meh!

Maybe the difference between Canada and Australia is that they will wait for the news to be unequivocally bad or good before advising the market.

So the TH could be that they have evidence of something good/bad and still need to quantify/qualify it.

If it were simply advice of a delay then they could have announced it same day as you wouldn't call a TH for that until you had already worked out your plans. The 'possibility' of a delay 'depending' on the weather is not grounds for a TH unless they have decided a date to pack up and leave until the next dry... an expensive decision, but again something they could have announced immediately and cause for a TH in Canada as well.

The dst NOT producing anything heart quickening is also not a reason to call a TH since the project objective is primarily the HZ fracing. It was a potential tid bit that may or may not have produced something. But the project is all about the HZ frac.

So to be worth a TH it would be something about a equipment 'failure' of sorts requiring further examination, positive indications from the dst, combined with other stuff they may as well add. If outright catastrophic equipment failure then you would think pfc should have also announced it.

But in Australia as we have seen TH can be about some pretty benign stuff. But a TH spanning a few days?

Since we are left playing with crystal balls to pass the time my bet is that the TH to be worth one and given pfc silence, is about some positive indications of the dst. Hopefully not, we sort of blew up some of the equipment doing a dst. lol
