gse, I have had a Forex account for the past several years and used it to transfer money several times. The spread is usually less than 1/2 a penny (GBP) from the real time rate and I get a better rate for larger amounts.
I use Ozforex and I haven't had any problems. Also, their staff have always provided a very courteous and friendly service.
