Sounds like rationalization to me Timber.

Virtually all financial markets are flowing together with either the expansion of global liquidity (resulting in rising markets) or the contraction of global liquidity (resulting in falling markets). In other words, markets are being driven by man's two core emotions - fear & greed. This becomes most evident during the peak of an investment mania and during panic selloffs but it occurs at various degrees of trend too.

The risk-on v risk-off trade has been dictating market movement and is becoming increasingly apparent which indicates that the bear (in virtually all markets) is resuming. And that's bullish for the US dollar and Treasuries.
