CCJ - I think HM's call re not posting was in response to those that make idiotic non-factual emmotive posts that don't warrant a response. I'm pretty certain HM is happy to post to those of us who like factual researched info.

HM - I agree - I have always been of the opinion that Exergen would not sign a JV until the BM was to JORC level. I am also certain for this to happen that Exregen's big backers would want to be have confirmation that the BM coal is there and compatible with the CHTD tech and to JORC. They have fudiciary obligations to their shareholders to ensure the money being spent will deliver a result aswell.

As mentioned, because of previous tests with similar brown coal at Maddingley, Exergen and MNM have a pre-JVA with costs split to explore and JORC BM. I'd say whilst lose change to Exergen, they wouldn't be doing this unless pretty certain of the end result.

Anyway, whilst the ann would not be to most SH's liking waiting with great anticipation for the JV, I am happy with the progress ie. 4 holes drilled and tested, most of the 11 other holes signed up to proceed (I believe from previous post that 10 of the 11 are done), rig to return and continue drilling next month (unfortunately, drill rigs in big demand and may work numerous jobs at once), JV progressing. It's all good...nothing in there negative.

Obviously, the ann could have said "JV stalled", "rig broken", etc. It didn't...so I take as a positive that all is progressing to plan.

Additionally, MNM management don't make "noise" for the sake of making noise eg. CTP ann "oil flow likely", etc. They make factual (non-ramping) confirmed statements (possibly even over cautious and conservative to some)...but I'd rather this than ann's which are over-hyped and unsubstantiated...makes me confident that when they ann something - it is for real.

Anyway, no suprise some impatient hands are out now on an apparently "nothing" ann. I had my MNM buy order filled last week, MNMOA order filled today and happy to continue to accumulate at these levels.

Nothing in the fundamentals of MNM have changed.
