Just had another look at the NMR Investor Presentation on the ASX from 25 Oct 2011. On page 11 it shows a map of what has just been drilled in the blue square (called Takatokwane) which is an approx 20km x 30km rectangle. Most of this has been wide space drilled and as I understand it constitutes the inferred Jorc resource of 4.2 Bill tonnes of coal.
Now if you look at what they will drill next in their Phase 1 and 2 drill program being drilled now and into 1st Qtr 2012 (shown by pink and blue spots) at Takatokwane South, the new area being drilled is double the size of the current Jorc area in the blue rectangle.
Now if they found the same coal extending into this region with the same thicknesses you would be talking in the order of 12 Bill Tonnes. This is pure speculation at this point as they have not completed drilling in this area yet ... but the potential could be there. Its possible.
This does not include the land holding to the west on the map which appears to be large also which may also have coal seams present..
So I guess what I'm saying is that there is a great deal of scope for blue sky with this resource. Interesting days ahead indeed.
Time will tell ..all is IMHO DYOR.
