yes, the person that mentioned it to me, when i mentioned the zeitgeist movie, portrayed the project in a dark light. and i initially took on a negative response to the project.
i downloaded a copy of the book and of course looked for all of the holes in it (you can find holes in anything if you want to) but sometime later considered that thre is some very good ideas in it and it wouldn't hurt to give them a go.
so, yeah it could be hijacked by TPTB, but who is to say that ordinary folks can't take a hold of it and run with it? people like those that are doing the occupy wall st protests. the humans have come together for so many reasons to basically say, "we have had a gutsfull" i'm sure that during this process many will be taking a good hard look at what others in the movement are saying, and use it as positive feedback to adjust their ways for the wellbeing of all on this planet.
feedback is an important thing by sharing thoughts and information amongst so many people, a tranformative process begins that starts to peel away at the layers of hypnotic habituation that keep us locked in repeating cycles of stupidity.
