Gold has been declining since September, which is months and the USD is on the way up. I expect the USD to break even against the euro.

What will this do the POG? Apply significant downward pressure probably.

Assuming Jim Rogers is correct and gold reaches $2400 in 20 years time that's a compound interest rate of 1.7% p.a.

Not worth the risk and you'd be losing after storage costs and insurance, and probably the premium for the buyer.

Like timber1956 I watched lots get cleaned out in 1980, I especially remember a scamster by the name of Ray Smith who ran Goldcorp. When the POG collapsed and punters went to pick up their gold, the cupboard was bare and Smith had flown the coop with his mistress to Utah.
