Presumably the euro would fall somewhat if they printed a large amount of euros at once.
However, Merkel seems quite opposed to printing money as she & other Germans remember Weimar 1923. Merkel seems to want a more integrated Europe where everyone is under the same laws, same retirement age, same everything....
